Friday Afternoon Ride
Hi there,
Friday just before lunch and I was sitting in the office and looked out at a clear blue sky and the temperature was about 15-16 degrees. Suddenly there was this voice from above saying: PeA don't just sit there, go home and pick up your bike and go for a motorcycle ride instead. That's exactly what I did. Below are a few pics from that ride. Enjoy.
First stop was at the local Burger place. Rule number one: don't ride hungry.
A nice bike perhaps but not my type of bike.
Second stop was on the ferry. A yellow ferry in Sweden is basically considered as a road. That means no charge or fee, just drive on-board. This ferry is crossing the bay Bråviken.
Trees are getting yellow and most of the tourists are gone. It means less trafic even on the nice back roads. The bay behind the bike is part of the Baltic Sea.
Want to go for a swim? Not today thanks.

This is Boy from Hummelvik. A typical Swedish fishing boat.
This is an old train station by the sea. The rails are gone since many years but the station building has been renovated and is now a restaurant. A very good spot.
My last stop and it was at the local Yamaha dealer. I was looking for a new front chain sprocket with 17 teeth instead of the original 16.
I'm sorry about the bad resolution of the photo but I was frozen and I used my mobile camera.
Back home again after 260 km on great motorcycle roads. An absolutely perfect afternoon. I parked the bike in the shed, took a warm shower and look what I found in the fridge. A mini Jägermeister and a German Weissbier. Thank God it's Friday.
